The warehouse has always been run like that. I worked there when it was outsourced to DHL and the way they treated the staff was outrageous. And they paid below the minimum wage - this was due to keeping people in a 20-minute queue to leave after clocking off, while they all had to go through a metal detector before leaving the floor.
