"Very disappointed ☹️"

Am so disappointed with two experiences in this charity shop at walnut tree twice made to feel like rubbish , by same individual , not sure if she is the manager there , but she needs lessons in customer communication skills. I have now decided never ever to go back in that shop ever again .

My first horrible experience was just over a month ago . I am on a low income , had my Christmas do coming up at work , so thought would look in shop to see if anything pretty there that was affordable , Picked up a lovely silver velvet dress with price tag for £7 on it , bit more than I could afford , so asked lady in there if it was possible please if it could come down just a little in price for me ,as really liked it , was told very rudely “ we are a charity shop , we don’t negotiate on prices ,” what ! This is a charity shop , things are donated , I shop at charity shops often and have bought loads of stuff so do my bit for charity, sometimes though money is tight and other charity shops in the area are always so kind and helpful , not rude and nasty , luckily I waited until nobody else was in the shop before I talked to the lady about price , I would have been so embarrassed to have been spoken to like that in front of others , not been back until today, because experience upset me , unlucky for me , I picked the day when this lady was working in there again . I picked up a scruffy looking leather bag with no price in it , thought would ask how much as maybe could clean it up and I liked it , asked how much please as no tag and was told rudely , “ we don’t put prices in some of them so we can decide at the till when brought up, this is leather and £10 , again what ! Grossly overpriced , I think with this lady if your face doesn’t fit , the price goes up , how sad I felt again .

Please treat people with respect , you have no idea what individuals are going through , this is a charity shop , please don’t make people feel uncomfortable , be nice .
